29-Year-Old Man Shot in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD- At approximately 1:36 a.m. on August 2, 2023, Southern District patrol officers were dispatched to the 4700 block of Pennington Avenue in response to a reported shooting incident.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 29-year-old male victim with an apparent gunshot wound. The injured individual received immediate medical attention from medics at the location and was subsequently transported to an area hospital for further treatment.

Currently, Southern District detectives are leading the investigation into the incident. Authorities are requesting assistance from anyone who may have information relevant to the case.
