D.C. Shooting Claims Life of 40-Year-Old

WASHINGTON, D.C. – 40-year-old Richard Silver of D.C. was shot and killed Wednesday night in Northeast D.C.

Responding to the sound of gunshots, officers arrived at the 2300 block of Second Street just after 7:30. On-site, they discovered an adult male victim with a gunshot wound.

The injured individual, identified as Silver, was rushed to an area hospital, but despite all efforts to save him, he died from his injuries.
