Man Sought in Sub way Vandalism Incident

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department has called for public assistance in identifying an individual connected to an incident of criminal mischief at Beach 67 Street train station.

On Sunday, July 23, around 12:05 pm, an unidentified male entered the station vestibule and damaged three OMNY turnstile displays using a glass bottle.

After inflicting the damage, the man then moved deeper into the station, attempting to destroy the window of a token booth with a long pole. The suspect fled the station on foot. No injuries were reported from this incident.

The person of interest is described as a male of dark complexion, around 5’8” tall, with a medium build and facial hair.

He was last seen in a black beanie hat, black t-shirt, and dark blue jeans. The NYPD asked anyone with relevant information to come forward.
