Police Investigating Assault on NYC Subway Train in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in an assault that occurred on a subway train.

The incident occurred on Sunday, at approximately 6:00 pm.

A 37-year-old male victim was on a northbound “2” train approaching the 149 Street-Grand Concourse subway station when an unidentified individual punched him, causing facial and bodily pain.

The suspect fled on foot from the Grand Concourse subway station.

The victim declined medical attention.
