Police Seek Woman in Connection to Stolen Vehicle in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – On Friday, July 21, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé asked the public to aid in identifying the female suspect in the picture, who is implicated in a car theft incident.

The event unfolded at approximately 5 p.m., when the victim found her 2011 Hyundai missing upon returning to where she parked it on 6 Pomona Avenue.

The female suspect, captured on surveillance, acted as a lookout for her male accomplice, who stole the vehicle that has since been retrieved by the police.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set, light-skinned black female with red hair and a tattoo on her left forearm.

She was dressed in black shorts and a shirt with an unknown design across the front.
