Man Flips Out After Being Confronted for Taking Food at NYC McDonald’s

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying a man involved in an incident at a McDonald’s restaurant in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.

On Thursday, July 20, at around 11:10 am, the unidentified man reportedly walked into the establishment located at 85 Bruckner Boulevard, helped himself to food from behind the counter, and fled.

When confronted by a customer, the man responded by throwing an object and shattering a window, causing an estimated $3,000 in damages. Following this, he fled the scene on foot in the direction of 132 Street. No injuries were reported in this incident.

The man is described as being approximately 5′ 6” tall and 160 pounds, with a medium build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing an orange sweater, gray shorts, and black sneakers.

The New York City Police Department asked anyone with information about this incident to come forward. Information can be shared by calling the department directly or through their confidential tip line.
