Retired Wall K9 Daza Passes

WALL TWP, NJ – The Wall Township Police reported the passing of retired K9 Daza.

Daza peacefully passed away at home in the loving embrace of her devoted handler, Patrolman Emmett Idzahl, surrounded by her family. Daza was a highly skilled K9, cross-trained in narcotics detection and patrol, including tracking. She faithfully served the Wall Township community from 2013 to 2021.

Throughout her service, Daza proved to be a loyal and dependable partner to Patrolman Idzahl and all the men and women of the Wall Township Police Department.

The entire community deeply appreciated her dedication and contributions to law enforcement.

The Wall Township Police Department extended its thoughts and prayers to Patrolman Idzahl and his family during this difficult time.

Daza has been laid to rest at the Tinton Falls K9 cemetery, where she joins her fellow K9 officers in a final resting place, honoring her service and commitment to keeping the community safe.
