NEW YORK, NY – A tragic incident unfolded in Westchester County where a prominent cancer doctor, Krystal Cascetta, 40, allegedly shot her 6-month-old baby before turning the gun on herself, according to the police statement released on Saturday.

The police have characterized the scene as a murder-suicide.

Krystal Cascetta was an assistant professor of medicine at Mount Sinai and played a significant role in running the Mount Sinai Queens Infusion Center.
