Stabbing at General Braddock Towers Sends Two to Hospital

NORTH BRADDOCK, PA – On Saturday, at 8:01 pm, police and paramedics rushed to the General Braddock Towers at 620 6th Street in North Braddock, responding to a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, they found a 43-year-old female with a stab wound to her hand.

Another individual, a 52-year-old male, was also discovered in a separate apartment with stab wounds to his chest and hands. Both victims were promptly taken to nearby hospitals and are now in stable condition.

The Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit was called in to assist with the investigation. Detectives arrived at the scene and began their inquiry. It was revealed that a verbal argument had taken place between the male and female involved.

During the argument, the female, identified as Marquita Rivers, resorted to multiple stabbing attacks against the male victim.

As a result, Rivers has been charged with criminal attempt homicide and aggravated assault. She is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail, awaiting arraignment for the charges.
