37-Year-Old Injured in Baltimore Shooting

Mass shooting at the scene of a Fourth of July holiday weekend block party in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened in Eastern Baltimore early yesterday morning.

Just after 2 am, officers rushed to the 3100 block of Chesterfield Avenue in response to a report of a discharge. Upon arrival, they discovered a 37-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening. He was promptly transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Based on the initial investigation, it was determined that the incident took place in the 3800 block of Kavon Avenue.
