Double Shooting Leaves One Dead in Harlem

NEW YORK, NY – The NYPD is investigating a double shooting that injured one man and left another dead Sunday night.

At approximately 8:38 p.m., the police responded to several 911 calls reporting a shooting incident involving two males in the area of West 176 Street and Audubon Avenue, within the jurisdiction of the 33rd Precinct.

Upon their arrival at the scene, officers discovered a 37-year-old male who had suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg. EMS transported him to Harlem Hospital, and his condition was reported as stable.

A second victim, identified as Danny Trinidad, a 25-year-old male residing at 509 West 174 Street, New York, NY, had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Columbia Hospital by private means but was pronounced deceased upon arrival.

Currently, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. The authorities are actively working to gather more information and bring the responsible parties to justice.
