Skeletal Remains Found in Baltimore Suitcase

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a suitcase found with skeletal remains found in Southeast Baltimore yesterday morning.

Shortly after 7 am, a disturbing call prompted the response of police officers to the 2400 block of East Madison Street. The call reported the finding of skeletal remains enclosed in a suitcase. Upon their arrival, officers confirmed the presence of human skeletal remains concealed within the suitcase.

In light of the gravity of the situation, homicide detectives were called in and took over the investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and subsequently retrieved the remains to perform an autopsy, which will help determine the cause of death.
