SOUTH TOMS RIVER, NJ – If you enjoy legalized marijuana and live in Ocean County, your days of long drives to the nearest dispensaries are over.
The new business, The Social Leaf was created by four local business owners.
The Social Leaf emerged as the only retail cannabis dispensary tailored for individuals aged 21 and above in Ocean County.
Located at 334 Atlantic City Blvd., the business recently opened last month.
Now, a month later, the dispensary draws in out-of-town residents and visitors from neighboring states, according to the owner.
They attribute their success to the limited availability of legal weed options at the Jersey Shore, as indicated by the establishment’s proprietors.
The store is one of 35 dispensaries operating in the state. Ironically, it is located next to a hot dog restaurant and an ice cream parlor.
Other dispensaries are located in Atlantic City, Wildwood, Neptune, Eatontown and Old Bridge.
