Maryland Man Arrested in Delaware for DUI, Assaulting Cops After Crash

MILTON, DE – The Delaware State Police have arrested Kevin Jasovsky, 37, of Bel Air, Maryland, for DUI and assaulting officers following a collision on Coastal Highway.

On Monday, around 9:27 pm, a patrolling trooper came upon a crash where a Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jasovsky hit a construction barrier and a police vehicle.

When officers tried to approach Jasovsky, he resisted arrest and injured both officers in the process.

Post-arrest, Jasovsky showed signs of alcohol impairment. Both he and the trooper received medical attention and were later released.

Jasovsky now faces several charges, including assault on a law enforcement officer and DUI. He is currently held at Sussex Correctional Institution with a cash bond set at $12,325.
