Police Stop 28 for Speeding, Some Up To 110 MPH on Route 10

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD – Members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section, with support from the Aviation Unit, conducted an intensive speed enforcement detail on Route 10 during the morning rush of Tuesday.

Over a span of 2.5 hours, officers made 28 traffic stops, citing drivers for severe speeding violations.

Speeds reaching up to 110 mph were observed.

This operation is part of an ongoing effort to address aggressive driving and speeding complaints on county roadways.

Additional enforcement activities are planned for the future. Residents witnessing reckless driving are asked to contact the police department immediately.
