NYPD Investigating Hit and Run That Left Man In Critical Condition

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks help in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident.

The incident took place on Sunday, July 23rd, around midnight.

The 56-year-old male victim was crossing Meridian Road and Avenue of Discovery at Flushing Meadows Corona Park when he was struck by a black SUV.

This vehicle was last observed heading south on Meridian Road. The SUV may have front passenger side damage.

The injured man was taken to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital and is in critical condition.
