Buffalo Woman Charged After Stealing $5k in Sunglasses at Walden Galleria

ERIE COUNTY, NY – Nyeaira E. Stallworth, 24, of Buffalo, was arraigned before State Supreme Court Paul B. Wojtaszek on charges including four counts of Burglary in the Third Degree and one count of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree.

Between December 31, 2022, and January 25, Stallworth allegedly unlawfully entered the Walden Galleria multiple times, violating a trespass notice from April 2019.

She is accused of stealing several pairs of sunglasses from a mall retailer, totaling approximately $4,900. Stallworth was arrested on March 4, for a theft incident from January 25.

She failed to appear for her arraignment on July 18, but was later arrested on an indictment warrant.

Stallworth’s next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, at 9:30 a.m. She is currently held without bail. If convicted on all counts, she could face up to 9 1/3 years in prison.
