BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ – A shooting in the city’s New Yorkshire neighborhood has led to the arrest of two men. The incident occurred on July 18, in the 200 block of Barclay Street, and has ties to a dispute earlier that day.

Shaun M. Causey, 36, is alleged to have shot Joseph Morris, 33, after their earlier disagreement. Officers who arrived at the scene discovered Morris with gunshot wounds.

Thanks to the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Causey was taken into custody two days post-incident.

Causey faces charges including Attempted Murder and multiple weapon violations. He is currently detained at the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.

Meanwhile, Morris, who was found with weapon-related contraband, faces his own set of firearm charges. After being arrested, he was subsequently released after a Superior Court appearance.
