Double Shooting in Strawberry Mansion Leaves One Dead

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A violent incident in Philadelphia’s Strawberry Mansion neighborhood resulted in the death of a man and injury to a woman on Wednesday evening.

Philadelphia Police Capt. Michael Goodson reported that officers were dispatched to the 2600 Arizona Street area.

Upon arrival, they discovered a 74-year-old man inside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Additionally, a 31-year-old woman, who happened to be in the vicinity, sustained graze wounds to her right ear and leg.
