Juvenile Shot Multiple Times in Winston-Salem

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem Police Department reports that a juvenile was shot three times in Winston-Salem on Wednesday.

The incident occurred around 1:37 p.m., with officers responding to Bridgton Place Drive following reports of a shooting.

The juvenile victim, found with three gunshot wounds to his upper torso, was reportedly shot at the intersection of Bridgton Place Drive and Bridgton Drive.

Witnesses suggest the shooter might have been in a small red passenger vehicle with trunk damage, which fled the scene before police arrival.

Officers later identified five spent 9mm shell casings on Bridgton Place Drive. The Winston-Salem Police Forensics Services team has processed the scene, and the injured juvenile was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The investigation continues.
