Water Main Break Repair to Close Roads in South River

Water Main Break - File Photo

SOUTH RIVER, NJ – Emergency water main break repairs are underway at the intersection of Terry Avenue and Colin Drive. Consequently, residents in the vicinity might encounter instances of reduced water pressure, or the water might appear discolored.

Those residing in immediate proximity could temporarily lose access to water service while the repair process continues.

The repair work is scheduled to commence promptly and is expected to conclude around 3:00 PM today.

Running the cold water for a few minutes and flushing toilets once or twice might prove effective in some instances to alleviate discoloration. It is advisable to avoid doing laundry until the water color normalizes if discoloration is experienced.
