One Dead in Brooklyn Double Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY – On Thursday, police units received frantic calls around 5:28 pm regarding a shooting at 1566 Sterling Place.

The site became the scene of a violent encounter that injured two males.

Emergency medical personnel escorted the victims to Interfaith Medical Center. One of the victims, identified as 26-year-old Shaheim Rogers from 519 Lincoln Place, Brooklyn, sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and was subsequently declared deceased at the medical facility.

The other victim, a 29-year-old male, suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh but is currently in stable condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made. The inquiry into the circumstances surrounding this event is still ongoing.
