Car Dispute Escalates to Biting and Woman Being Run Over

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Tabitha Rebecca Topping, 36, and Tonio Michael Hicks, 34, both residents of Cambridge, have been arrested following a physical altercation.

On Thursday, July 27, at around 8:07 a.m., Cambridge Police Department officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Oakley St.

The disagreement was reportedly over the use of a vehicle, which escalated to Topping biting Hicks in self-defense and Hicks allegedly using the vehicle to hit her.

Hicks also reported an assault by Topping. Both individuals were taken into custody. While in custody, Topping further claimed that Hicks had threatened to destroy the residence.

Topping has been charged with Assault 2nd Degree, whereas Hicks faces charges of Assault 2nd Degree and Threat of Arson.
