Man Found Shot Dead on D.C. Sidewalk

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A disturbing discovery was made in the nation’s capital on Monday when local police found the body of an unidentified man on a sidewalk along 10th Street in Northeast, D.C. The incident was reported around 11:30 a.m.

Upon initial assessment, the D.C. Police stated that the man had been shot. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear as investigations are currently underway.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation. The victim’s identity is still being determined, and an autopsy is expected to provide more details on the cause of death.
