Triple Shooting in West Philadelphia Leaves One Dead

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Last Sunday night, a shooting in the Mill Creek area of West Philadelphia has resulted in one fatality and two injuries.

Around 9 p.m., in the 5100 block of Funston Street, officers found Robert Williams, a 54-year-old from East Germantown, with gunshot wounds to his chest and back.

He was quickly transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Earlier in the evening, at roughly 8:15 p.m. on N. 20th Street, a 14-year-old boy was critically injured with shots to his chest and back.

Meanwhile, early Monday morning, around 4:30 a.m. on N. 23rd Street, a 46-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to both legs but is in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
