Two Juveniles Charged for Deadly Shooting in Yonkers

YONKERS, NY – The Yonkers Police Department has arrested two male suspects in relation to a July shooting at 73-83 Highland Avenue, which led to the death of Pharrell Aguasvivas, a 16-year-old Bronx resident.

The incident took place around 6:30 PM on July 28th.

Detectives determined that Aguasvivas was involved in a physical altercation with the two suspects, which escalated to gunfire.

Both suspects are minors and will not be identified as per legal restrictions.

The charges for Suspect 1 include Murder 2nd, Robbery, and several other charges. Suspect 2 faces similar charges, including Murder 2nd. Both were remanded without bail.
