Fatal Motorcycle Crash Reported on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

RALEIGH, N.C. – On Monday, a motorcyclist lost his life in an accident on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at South Bloodworth Street.

The crash was reported around 3:08 pm.

The Raleigh Police Department identified the victim as Zahmir Williams, 23. Preliminary reports indicate that Williams was traveling at a speed exceeding the 35 mph limit.

He seemingly lost control during a curve, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road and onto the sidewalk, leading to Williams’ ejection.

Williams succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The incident remains under investigation and is currently not linked to any other events in the area.
