Newark Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Burglary Suspect

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Public Safety Director, Fritz Fragé, is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary.

The incident occurred on Thursday, around 10 a.m. in the 400 block of Mulberry Street.

Surveillance footage captured the suspect breaking into an apartment through a rear bedroom window.

Once inside, the individual changed into the victim’s clothes and exited the building through the front door.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black bucket hat, a black AllSaints shirt, green army fatigue pants, red and white Jordan sneakers, and carrying a blue Dove backpack.
