Police Suspect in Theft at Weis on Upper Front Street

CHENANGO, NY – On Thursday, July 27, at around 11:37 a.m., an unidentified man allegedly stole a wallet containing credit cards from an elderly woman’s shopping cart.

The incident occurred at Weis, located on Upper Front Street in the town of Chenango.

The man acted while the woman was shopping in the frozen section.

The New York State Police are actively seeking information regarding the identity of the suspect.
