Rider Threatens MTA Bus Driver with Gun

BROOKLYN, NY – A menacing incident occurred on Friday, August 4, at around 7:00 PM involving an on-duty MTA bus driver.

The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying the individual responsible.

The confrontation took place on the B26 bus at Johnson Street and Cadman Plaza East.

A male, described as being between 45-60 years old with a salt and pepper beard and around 5’11”-6’0″ tall, refused to leave the bus.

He then displayed a firearm and threatened the 27-year-old bus driver. The individual left the bus and fled, leaving the victim unharmed.
