Syracuse Police Continue Confiscating Illegal ATV, Dirt Bikes on Public Streets

SYRACUSE, NY – On Tuesday, the Syracuse Police Department intensified efforts to curb illegal dirt bike and ATV activities across the city. Officers confiscated two dirt bikes as part of their ATV and dirt bike detail.

Drivers of these bikes were handed appearance tickets for illegal operation, and officers also administered five traffic citations.

The Syracuse Police Department emphasizes a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards illicit dirt bikes and ATVs. First-time offenders are not only arrested and charged under local law but also face a $500 fine, alongside significant redemption fees.As summer draws to a close, the detail operations will persist.
