NYPD Makes Arrest in March Brooklyn Shooting

BROOKLYN, NY – An arrest has been made in relation to the shooting of 46-year-old Jose Tossas of 329 Lexington Avenue, Brooklyn.

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 11, around 5:40 am.

Responding officers found Tossas with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was subsequently transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Woodhull where he was declared deceased.

On Wednesday, around 1:00 pm, the Police Department arrested and charged 29-year-old Ismael Suren, a resident of 239 Lexington Avenue, Brooklyn. Charges include murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the Police Department asked those with additional details to provide their insights.
