CLARKSTOWN, NY – The Clarkstown Police Department is reminding residents about their free car seat check service, an initiative aimed at ensuring the safety of the community’s youngest members. The next date for this service is Sunday, August 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Nanuet Fire Department Substation, located at 11 Renee Ln., Bardonia.

Those interested in availing of this service can schedule an appointment online through the Clarkstown Police Department’s official website. There is no charge for the appointment, and it includes both car seat checks and installations.

This event highlights the department’s commitment to community welfare, especially for families with young children. Parents and guardians are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure their child’s car seat is properly installed and complies with safety standards.

The Clarkstown Police Department plans to continue offering more appointments in the future for those who cannot make it on the mentioned date. Regular updates regarding the schedule will be made available on their website and social media channels.
