Man Shot in Face During Harlem Shooting

NEW YORK, NY – On Saturday, August 12, at approximately 11:30 p.m., an unknown individual discharged a firearm multiple times near the intersection of East 129 Street and 8 Avenue, grazing a 42-year-old male victim in the face. The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound on East 127 Street on foot.

The victim was able to seek medical care privately and was admitted to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall, with a medium complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a white stripe running along the leg, and black sandals.
