34-Year-Old Stabbed To Death In D.C., Suspect Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A homicide investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department. The incident occurred in Southeast D.C. on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the 1900 Block of E Street shortly before 9:30 am on Thursday. They discovered an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition and subsequently passed away on Saturday.

The victim was identified as 34-year-old Darrow Johnson from Clinton, MD.

30-year-old Mussay Rezene, a resident of Southeast, DC, was arrested on Thursday and charged with the stabbing. The detectives are in consultation with the United States Attorney’s Office regarding the possibility of upgrading the charges.
