25-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Armory Square

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – An incident unfolded in Armory Square early Sunday morning when a 25-year-old man was shot multiple times.

Syracuse Police officers stationed in the Armory Square vicinity reported hearing gunshots emanating from the 400 block of South Clinton Street just after midnight.

They located and assisted the injured man until an AMR ambulance crew arrived.

The victim was rushed to the Upstate University Hospital’s emergency room, where he succumbed to his injuries. The identity of the victim has been withheld.
