Man Robbed at Gunpoint in the Bronx

NEW YORK CITY – In the early hours of Wednesday, a 60-year-old male was accosted and robbed at the intersection of Rhinelander Avenue and Fowler Avenue. While walking in the area, two unknown male assailants approached him from behind.

Upon confrontation, one of the individuals brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s belongings. Following the threat, the assailants forcibly took the victim’s cellphone and cash before fleeing southbound on Fowler Avenue on foot.

The incident occurred without physical injury to the victim. The New York City Police Department has released media depicting the individuals and is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
