Man Struck with Gun During Violent Robbery

COLUMBUS, OH – Detectives from the Robbery Unit are seeking information regarding an aggravated robbery that took place in the Short North.

On Sunday, a victim was accosted on Greenwood Ave. near N. Wall St. when two armed suspects emerged from an SUV and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The victim was struck in the head with a gun before handing over his possessions.

The suspects, described as black male teenagers, fled the scene in a silver-colored Kia Sorrento.

The Columbus Police Robbery Unit is urging anyone with information to come forward.
