Pennington, NJ – A person reported missing on Monday, last seen on August 18, was found dead in the area of Baldpate Mountain in Hopewell Township, according to a release from the Hopewell Township Police Department.
Authorities located the missing individual’s car unoccupied in the parking lot of the mountain, leading to the area being closed to the public while various agencies initiated a search.
Officials later discovered the person dead, but the department stated that there are no signs of foul play at this time. The investigation into the circumstances of the death is ongoing.
