Shooting Near Columbus Shopping Center Leaves One Injured

COLUMBUS, OH – A shooting incident occurred near a shopping district in the Valleyview Heights area on the west side of Columbus Sunday.

Columbus Police reported that the event took place on the 100 block of North Wilson Avenue around 5:26 a.m.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered a victim with gunshot injuries to the back and hip.

The individual was promptly sent to a hospital and underwent emergency surgery, where they remain in a stable condition.
