QUEENS, NY – Matthew Lloyd, 36, of Astoria, was charged with attempted murder and assault after allegedly attacking two men with a metal baseball bat while on a skateboard.

The incidents occurred on Saturday, with Lloyd being arraigned on Monday.

Around 6:10 p.m., Lloyd attacked Jamal Bermudez, 46, near the intersection of 19th Street and Ditmars Boulevard.

Minutes later, Lloyd assaulted 79-year-old Massalis Hristos, resulting in severe injuries that required surgery. Lloyd was arrested less than an hour later in possession of the bat and skateboard.
