NEW ROCHELLE, NY – The New York Lottery announced today that two third-prize-winning tickets for the Powerball drawing on August 21 were sold in New Rochelle.
Both tickets, each worth $50,000, were purchased at DB Mart, located at 123 Pelham Rd.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
The winners have yet to claim their prizes, and the excitement in New Rochelle and across the state continues as the Powerball offers players the chance at life-changing sums.
