Wildwood Crest Police Will Be On the Lookout For Drunk Drivers

WILDWOOD CREST, NJ – The Wildwood Crest Police Department will be participating in the National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign from August 18th through September 4th.

This initiative, supported by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), aims to prevent drunk driving during the Labor Day holiday period.

Law enforcement will be intensifying their efforts with a zero-tolerance approach to impaired driving.

The public is reminded to always drive sober and to plan ahead by designating a sober driver or using alternative transportation methods like taxis or rideshares.

If anyone observes a drunk driver on the road, they are asked to contact local law enforcement.
