17-Year-Old Shot in the Back, Recovering in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE, MD – On Saturday, at 12:11 pm, CPD officers were dispatched to the 700 block of High St following a “Shot Spotter Alert.”

The alert was due to multiple shots fired. Shortly after, a 17-year-old male arrived at the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge with a gunshot wound in his upper back.

Investigations revealed that the victim was in a vehicle on High St when shots were fired, hitting the vehicle and the teen.

The Cambridge Police Department seeks community assistance for more details on this incident.
