Dirt Bike Riders Flee Police in Carlisle

CARLISLE, PA – On Thursday, August 18, at around 12:01 am, a Carlisle Police officer noted three dirt bikes committing multiple traffic offenses on E. North St.

The officer initiated a traffic stop, but the dirt bike operators refused to yield and escaped at high speed.

 They continued to violate traffic laws as they sped towards Claremont Rd. and subsequently into a nearby field.

The Carlisle Police Department is actively seeking any information that could aid in identifying the individuals involved.
