ROXBURY, NJ – The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and Roxbury Police Department have announced a joint Driving While Intoxicated checkpoint for the weekend of August 25-27.

The checkpoint will be held in Roxbury, New Jersey.

Funding for this operation comes from grants received by the Prosecutor’s Office from the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety.

These grants are effective until the end of September.

This initiative is part of a larger effort by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office to coordinate sobriety checks throughout Morris County. Members of the public are notified in advance as a deterrence measure.
