Two Dead in Fiery Crash Involving Stolen Kia

LANDOVER, MD – Early Wednesday morning, PGPD police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Landover Road and Old Landover Road following reports of a collision between two vehicles.

The initial investigation found that an unidentified driver in a stolen Kia was traveling northbound on Landover Road when the car collided with a Toyota Camry that was attempting to turn left onto southbound Landover Road. Both vehicles caught fire. The driver of the Kia fled the scene, leaving behind the two fatalities, a male and a female, in the Toyota.
