Off-Duty NYC DOE Worker Arrested on Multiple Charges


NEW YORK CITY – An off-duty New York City Department of Education (DOE) employee was arrested at 6 am on Wednesday, August 23, within the confines of the 101 Precinct.

The individual, identified as 28-year-old Brooke Scheer, faces multiple criminal charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Criminal Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Details surrounding the arrest and the circumstances leading up to it have not been disclosed at this time.
