27-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch is probing a homicide that transpired early yesterday morning in Northwest, D.C.

Just after 4:30 a.m., officers arrived at the 3600 Block of 16th Street, to investigate reports of gunshots and found 27-year-old Larry Thomas, a resident of Triangle, Virginia, fatally shot. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities have yet to disclose what precipitated the fatal shooting, and no suspects have been identified in connection with the incident.
