Arrest Made in D.C. Shooting Death

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In connection with the tragic shooting that took place in Northwest, D.C. on August 6th, detectives from the Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch have made an arrest.

First District officers were called to the 1200 block of North Capitol Street at 6:00 a.m. for a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered 28-year-old Antonio Brown with gunshot wounds. Despite all lifesaving measures, Brown passed away at a local hospital.

43-year-old Franklin Dorn, a resident of Northwest, D.C., was arrested yesterday and charged with First Degree Murder while Armed.
